Acacia koa

Koa is a tree species that is native to Hawaii, whose veneer is golden brown to reddish-brown in color with dark streaks throughout, with a lustrous sheen. Occasionally develops a fiddleback figure or other cross figure. Koa has a walnut-like texture but not as hard. Often used in the building of musical instruments, furniture, and wall paneling.
