Project Description
Khaya ivorensis
As the name suggest, this species is native to the African continent. The color of African Mahogany veneer ranges from light pink to reddish-brown and tan. This wood produces a very distinct, pleasing grain pattern with lavish figuring in plain stripe, broken stripe, mottle, fiddleback, fine crotches, and faux swirl. Available in great lengths and widths, this veneer is relatively hard, works well, and polishes nicely.
