Machaerium seleroxylon
Santos Rosewood grows in Bolivia and Brazil, and is also called Moradillo. This heartwood veneer is lustrous, with colors ranging from red, to chocolate brown, to purple and black, with cream colored sapwood. Santos Rosewood is extremely rare.
