Liriodendron tulipfera
Also known as American Tulipwood, Yellow Poplar, Whitewood, and Tulip Poplar. This species can be found primarily in the eastern United States. It is white to yellow to light brown in color, with a sometimes slightly greenish cast and occasional dark streaks.
