Pinus strobus
Also known as Northern White Pine or Eastern White Pine, this softwood can be found in the Western-Pacific Northwest and Eastern United States. It’s color ranges from cream to light reddish-brown with light yellow sapwood.
The term “Knotty” refers to veneer that has many knots throughout, as opposed to “Clear”, which indicates veneer that is free of such characteristics.
